Skillet's Songs Receiving Major RIAA Certifications

Skillet is celebrating a major career milestone as their hit song "Monster" has officially been certified 7x Platinum by the RIAA, representing seven million certified units in the United States. The achievement is part of a new wave of certifications that brings Skillet to 30 million RIAA-certified units across 21 titles. Along with "Monster," "Hero" has reached 4x Platinum, while "Awake and Alive" and "Feel Invincible" have each been certified 3x Platinum. "Not Gonna Die" has reached Platinum status, while "Falling Inside the Black," "Finish Line," "Rise," "Sick of It," and "Back From the Dead" have all been certified Gold.

The band's Unleashed album has also earned Platinum certification. Originally released on 2009's Awake, "Monster" has now surpassed five billion global streams and became the first song by a Christian artist to cross one billion streams on Spotify. The latest certifications add to an already impressive run for Skillet as the band approaches three decades of reaching both Christian and mainstream rock audiences.
